Meenadchi

Trainer

Meenadchi (pronouns: Meenadchi/they) is a facilitator and somatic practitioner whose work centers the softness of our shadows as we deepen into our light. Meenadchi's movement work began first as a performer and dancer, shifting into the mental health and trauma sector through suicide prevention, rape crisis advocacy, and daily functioning/skill-building for folks with serious mental illness and complex trauma histories. Meenadchi's primary modalities are Non-Violent Communication, Family Constellation Therapy, and craniosacral therapy. Meenadchi is the author of Decolonizing Non-Violent Communication. Leonie Smith

Co-Founder and Executive Director

Leonie Smith is a first-generation Canadian of Jamaican heritage. She is founder of a consultancy dedicated to supporting organisations and individuals find ways of working that are less harmful and more inclusive, The Thoughtful Workplace. She has more than 20 years experience in senior management positions championing an approach to leadership that supports care and efficiency towards a shared purpose.

Uma Lo

Co-Founder (retired)

Uma is a first-generation New Yorker and daughter of Taiwanese immigrants to the United States. She applies what she learns from an ongoing journey reclaiming her cultural heritage, confronting internalized racism and other oppressions, and applying privileged access to resources (including NVC) to her work with POC4NVC. As a collaborator, facilitator, coach, and consultant, Uma seeks to restore/discover our human capacity to live fully empowered and fully expressed through interdependence with each other and all life.
